BRAND NEW Japanese Derby Stallion Saturn, never opened!

This is the rarer (20000 against 50000?) of the two clear or skeleton Japanese Saturn consoles. It's also easily the prettiest too, a beautiful clear blue colour. The "This Is Cool" Saturn is a smoky grey colour, and while it's very nice, it's really nowhere near as nice as the Derby Stallion Saturn, as it's much more dull, whereas the Derby Stallion is bright and clearer. Over the last couple of years I've seen a few 'new' Saturns listed on ebay and most of them haven't been new at all. Either the sellers have been lying or they thmselves were sold something which wasn't as it was described. This one has only been out of the box for these pictures and even then I haven't taken it out of it's baggie to allow it to get dirt or prints or whatever on the console or joypad. One of the giveaways is the battery: if it's not sealed in it's little wrapper, then it's not going to be a new system. This one is exactly as it should be: sealed in it's wrapper inside the sealed instruction manual bag. Another giveaway are the cables, particularly the joypad. If they've been untied and then re-tied, then it's obvious that they been used! Cries of "I only tested it once to make sure it worked" don't wash with me. Anyway, this Saturn has never had any of it's cables untied, you can tell by the way they're wound up, and you can also tell by the cables ties because once you've untied them, it's impossible to re-tie them, hiding the evidence that they've been undone. It probably sounds like I'm going way OTT, but some of these systems haven't been manufactured for over 10 years, and people who buy brand new ones are clearly collectors, and I think it's important that these people get exactly what they're supposed to be getting. Even if you don't bid on this auction, this is advice you might want to take with you for any other new retro consoles you buy in the future. Regardless of whether the buyer intends to open it and play it or keep it brand new, he/she will be very happy with this purchase - new Derby Stallions don't come round very often!

Item will be well packed and sent from the UK via City Link which is one of the largest domestic couriers in the UK. Once it leaves the UK, it usually then gets handled by FedEx. Delivery to the US does not include insurance due to the stupid ebay shipping rules but using the $50 option, it will be sent by City Link and will include insurance. Because of the rarity of the item, I would strongly recommend taking out insurance. International shipments to countries other than the US include insurance, delivery time is 3-5 days. Within the UK, I will send the item on a next day service.
