Time for the meat and potatoes. You want to know a little about me. Well, I was born and raised in a small farm town in Missouri. I know if you don't live in Columbia, Kansas City, Springfield, St. Louis, or Joplin you are living in a small farm town. I've was born in and raised and currently live in Marshall. Yeah that Marshall the one famous for "Jim the Wonder Dog" and the "Jim the Wonder Dog" Memorial Park. I've only been at this for a few months now and I have taught myself everything that I know which isn't much. Some like to express themselves with a paintbrush I prefer to do it through the viewfinder of my Canon Rebel. The Pahlo Art Refinery & Gallery (above) is owned and operated by Patrick O'Hanlon. Located in Marshall, Mo the 1922 structure is being remodeled to house both a healing arts center and the Pahlo Art Refinery and Gallery. Focus for the gallery will be providing open studio/galleries for as many as 50 artists and a running gallery display throughout the building as well as classes and workshops. As of November 2005 we are now open to the public every Saturday from 10:00- 4:00 pm. Currently we are closed for the winter but will reopen in April. Both the physical gallery and Ebay store are beginning to be filled with a wide variety of art. Anyone wishing to take part in this bold new venture is welcome to contact me.
