Braun SK 55 radiogram

designed to provide users with audio and visual enjoyment at the highest level. See, listen to and operate this Braun equipment as it was intended.

This particular radio-phonograph combination is in excellent cosmetic condition and full working order. It has a three speed record player, 45, 33, 16 rpm. The tube radio picks up LW, MW, and UKW signals (Broadcast, Long Wave, and FM).

This combination was designed by Dieter Rams and Hans Gugelot (Bauhaus / Ulmer Schule HFG aka "Ulm College of Design"). The beautiful translucent plastic lid gave this combination its nickname "Snow White's Coffin" and made it famous all over the world. A truly masterpiece of design.

Beautiful cream white metal casing with ash-veneer wooden sides. As already mentioned cosmetic is for it years good, with some little signs of wear. As pictured one wooden side shows a small crack on the back, not a big thing and one would not notice it normally, but it is there. For more information please take a close look at my pictures below and ask any question prior bidding.
