Sitka Spruce Top - Sitka Spruce has become an industry standard for high quality tonewood. It is a very versatile top that works well for all styles of playing. Present abundance has left it under-appreciated, but it is one of the all-time best tonewoods. The color is fairly light when new, and becomes golden over time. A Pacific Northwest wood.

Mahogany Back & Sides - Bright and woody. The brightness of mahogany and the richness of Breedlove designs makes it a great choice for all players. Many blues bottleneck players love the way it “whines”. Our mahogany is from Central America.

Designed with stage and studio in mind, Breedlove Performance series guitars feature distinctive aesthetics and inlays, and customized electronics. Built upon our "S Series" Custom Shop platform, Performance Series guitars are built in the U.S. Custom shop alongside our Master Class instruments.

L.R. Baggs Dual Element - Custom-designed by Lloyd Baggs for Breedlove, the Dual Element is a versatile pickup system designed to amplify the natural sound of your Breedlove acoustic guitar. An Element active piezo pickup and an internal condenser microphone are routed through a Dual Source preamp (all-discrete, class A with two-channel onboard mixing.) Volume and blend controls are mounted inside the soundhole, for easy access with minimal visual impact.
