For auction is this very nice horse brass which depicts the head of a horse and its bridle, set within a lucky horseshoe

This brass is in very good condition, with some patination to the reverse (see photos)

Age:  Unknown, quite heavy and well detailed, so possibly quite old

It is mounted on a leather face-piece with a strap and buckle

The face piece itself is also in very good condition - just some slight wear to the leather strap in the area above the buckle

 The brass measures approx. 2 3/4 inches (6.8cm) across and 3 3/8 inches (8.6cm) from top to bottom

The leather face-piece measures approx. 3 5/8 inches (9.3cm) across at its widest point - the entire face-piece measures approx. 6 3/4 inches (17cm) from top to bottom
