This quarter size copper coin is some of the highest quality coinage available from the Admiral Gardner wreck! When found, the coins were fused together as shown in the pictures. Carefully brought to near full restoration state, the coins are super high grade. With the exception of gold, items found in the sea continue to deteriorate if not propery restored. The ship sunk on Goodwin Sands in January of 1809. The ship and treasure was recovered in 1985. A 4.25" x 5.5" standard certificate of authenticity from ATC comes with this coin with signature from Gary West of Numistreasure. You are bidding on the one coin in the photos. The front and back are both excellent!
