 Construction Features

 

·         The Frame of the USA Series Hoist is a Tough, Impact Resistant, Lightweight, Heat Treated, Permanent Mold Cast Aluminum Alloy. The Frame is Heavily Proportioned, designed Primarily for Rigidity to Hold the Gears and Bearings in Close Alignment. The Frame with the Covers Encloses all Operating Parts and Protecting Them from Dirt and the Weather.

·         The Chain Wheel, in Addition to Having Pockets Accurately Formed to Receive the Links of the Hand Chain, also Forms a Part of a Unique Patent Pending Overload Device as a Standard Feature. The Overload Device is Calibrated for the Capacity of the Hoist and Factory Installed as an added Measure of Protection for the Load, Hoist, and Operator.

·         The Gearing is Straight Spur for Good Efficiency. The Gears and Pinions are Generously Proportioned and Precision Cut from Alloy Steel and Heat Treated for Maximum Strength and Durability. All Gears are Grease Packed in a Grease Tight Gear case.

·         The Automatic, Screw Actuated, Weston-Type Load Brake Holds the Load Under all Conditions and Permits Fine Smooth Control in Lowering. The brake is Self-Adjusting with the Friction Washers Long Wearing, Requiring Low Maintenance.

·         The Load Sprocket and Sprocket Gear are Machined from a One-Piece Steel Forging. The Chain Guide is a Heat-Treated, Spring Steel, Flexible Guide Which Provides Heat-Treated Smooth Surfaces that Flex in the Frame, Controlling the Load Without Binding.

·         The Load Chains are Closely Calibrated Chain Links of Special Analysis Alloy Steel Formed and Heat-Treated for Unusual Strength, Carbonized for Long Wear and Usage. The Links are Accurately Formed to Fit the Pockets of the Load Sprocket.

·         The Hand Chain is Welded Steel and Zinc Plated for Corrosion Resistance and “Clean Hands” Operation. The Chain Links are Accurately Formed to Fit the Pockets of the Chain Wheel for Gag-Resistant Operation in the Chain Wheel and Guide Arrangement.

·         The Hooks are Drop Forged Steel and are Tough and Ductile so that They Will Open Noticeably When Subjected to Excessive Overload. They are Full Swiveling, and Each is Equipped with a Bullard Safety Hook Latch.

PAYMENT ACCEPTED: Checks (personal, business, cashier, money orders) require 7-10 days to clear.  For immediate shipping use US Postal Money Orders, Certified Bank Cashier Checks, Wire Transfers, or PayPal.  Payment is due within 7 days of close of auction or buyer may forfeit all rights to purchase item.  Virginia Residents please add 5% Sales Tax.

 

SHIPPING & INSURANCE: Buyer pays all Shipping, Handling, and Insurance charges from Richmond, VA 23224 or specified shipping charges stated in auction listing.  Seller will make prepaid shipping arrangements and ship within 1-3 days of cleared funds. 

 

SMALL ITEMS:  Under 150 pounds and physically small enough items are shipped prepaid FedEx Ground within 1-3 days of cleared funds with insurance for the 48 lower states.  All shipments to Alaska and Hawaii are sent prepaid US Postal Service unless other arrangements are requested and paid for.  We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

 

LARGE ITEMS: Over 150 pounds or physically to large for FedEx Ground are shipped out of Richmond, VA 23224 by Common Carrier (Overnite Transportation, Roadway, R&L, etc.)

 

Common Carrier shipping is tailgate delivery.

 

Common Carriers charge extra to unload, move items inside your building, and delivery to all residential addresses.

 

This means you must have the equipment and ability to unload from the end of the truck and put your purchase where you want it.

 

To avoid residential delivery charges we must ship to a business address in a commercial neighborhood.  This can be your friend's business or your work address in care of you.

 

If you request additional delivery services from the Common Carrier, after we ship, the Common Carrier will bill you directly for the services you request. 

 

EXPORT REQUIREMENTS: Seller is happy to work with all Buyers from around the world.  Seller is not required to ship to any countries it is not legal to export from the USA.  All sales illegal to export will be canceled and re-listed.  All Buyers requesting items shipped from the USA are required to provide a Freight Forwarding Agent in the USA.  Buyer is responsible for the cost of obtaining all Export Licenses, Freight Forwarding Agent Fees, Shipping Fees, Crating and Packing Fees, Export/Import Duties, etc.  Seller will not provide any false or miss-leading information on any documentation to facilitate exporting and or to reduce/eliminate Buyer's Import/Export Duties and or fees.
