Electric Starter!
Finite Element Analysis!

Running your new turbine without an electric starter may cause thermal shock.
Thermal shock occurs when a turbine is shut down. Without the cooling effect of air and fuel parts can become deformed due to softening of metal and expansion. In time this will ruin your new turbine. This can be avoided by running an electric starter a few minutes after shutting down. This will cool off the internal parts bringing the metal to it's hardened state and keeping expansion minimal.
