Q: Are your products brand new? Do they come with a warranty? Who provides the warranty services and how?
A: All our microscopes and accessories sold on eBay come brand new in factory sealed boxes. All our microscopes come with a five-year factory warranty against manufacturing defects. We, Precision World, carry all of the warranty services, and are headquartered in the greater Los Angeles area (southern California), USA. Most of your possible problems can be solved over the phone with the help of our very experienced and well-trained technicians and engineers. We will send you parts and instructions for replacement if necessary. In very few cases, you may need to send your microscope back to our facilities in southern California for maintenance or repair.
Q: What types of payments do you accept? How do I pay?
A: We accept money orders, cashier's checks, credit cards, Paypal payments, company or personal checks, and bank wire transfers. Q: Where do you ship to? Where do you ship orders from?
A: We ship worldwide. Our warehouses are located in southern California, USA. All items will be shipped out from the greater Los Angeles area.
Q: When do you ship? How do you ship? How long can I expect my items to be delivered?
A: We ship orders out within 24 hours after receiving payment, except for weekends and holidays. We ship orders within the United States and Canada via UPS Ground by default, and international orders via USPS (United States Postal Service) Airmail Parcel Post. We ship UPS Next Day, 2nd Day Air, 3 Day Select, COD or via other popular shipping companies, like FedEx and DHL, upon request at possible extra costs. Tracking information will be directly forwarded to you from the shipping company when your order is shipped out. UPS Ground usually takes five working days from coast to coast. Express packages can be delivered overnight, second day or 3 days, depending on what you choose. International shipments via Airmail Parcel Post usually take 6 - 10 days for delivery, depending on the speed of customs clearance in your country.
Q: Do you combine shipping? What is the shipping cost? How about shipping insurance?
A: Yes, we combine shipping whenever it is possible to save you shipping cost. For combined shipping, we charge full S&H for the first item and half of that from the second (smaller) item on. Please find the shipping cost of individual item in the listing under the Shipping & Handling section. Shipping insurance is optional but is strongly recommended for domestic orders. Shipping companies pay much more attention to your packages when they are insured. Almost all our customers buy shipping insurance for precision instruments like microscopes. Shipping insurance is required for international orders to ensure the traceability of shipped packages.
Q: What is your return policy? What are your store policies?
A: We stand behind our products, as we believe in their top-of-the-line quality. However, if you are not completely satisfied for any reason, return them within seven (7) days in the original box and packaging. Your money will be fully refunded less shipping and handling cost. Q: How soon do you reply emails? How can I get quicker service?
A: We have more than one full time staff in our customer service department online to reply emails during working hours. As we handle hundreds of emails per day, we are continually striving to provide you with quicker service. You may receive replies from us in minutes or hours, depending on the availability of the information you request and if the information you provided is complete. At the most, you should hear from us within 24 hours. You will receive a much faster response if you include the eBay item #s or invoice #s of the items in question in your email. Please always quote previous emails back when you reply.
Q: I have not received an email reply from you for more than 24 hours, what was happened? What should I do?
A: Email communication sometimes is not reliable. We sometimes receive one or two "failure notice" for email delivery. Possible reasons include: 1) your (or our) email space is full; 2) your (or our) email Spam filters or other restrictions blocks the delivery; 3) the email we receive has a code that is not readable. If this happens, please send your emails via eBay messenger by "Ask seller a question" in the "Meet the seller" section on the upright corner of the eBay item listing.
