Bulgari rare 1920's 14kt two tone gold mesh purse

Extremely rare 14kt gold mesh bag, from Bulgari , circa 1920.

Stamped Bulgari, Engraved with the name Elsa Louis Weideman.

The Weidemans were prominent Merchants / Bankers / Philanthrapist's in Cleveland Ohio.

Mrs Weideman died in 1930.

The photos do not do this justice; it is exquisite!

This stunning extremely rare purse is made of 14kt yellow gold and rose gold mesh. Woven together in a beautiful herringbone pattern. The frame of the purse is stamped with 585 which is 14kt gold. The frame also has a Bulgari stamp and engraved with Elsa Louis Weideman's name. There are two other very tiny stamps that I cannot make out. The purse closes with sapphire bezels on the clasp. It's beautiful and so delicate. A collector's item. It's in excellent condition.

The purse weighs approximately 13 ounces.
