The GORE-TEX XCR insert's superior windproofing and breathability creates a one-way membrane; the weather stays out, yet moisture escapes with ease. OUTLAST Adaptive Comfort Technology absorbs excess heat, only to release it later as your body temperature cools. The AK Guide Glove has a GORE-TEX 3L insert which allows for an incredible amount of dexterity and flexibility so that you can strap in, crank down, tighten up, and zip up, without taking your hands out of your gloves.  The insert is also waterproof, windproof and breathable so your hands can remain in a comfortable environment all day long.  Added is a brushed microfiber lining with Outlast Adaptive Comfort technology, a phase changing material that regulates temperature spikes by absorbing excess heat, to reduce sweaty buildup in your glove and releasing heat when you begin to cool down.  As if that weren’t enough, back it up with Thinsulate insulation for low-bulk warmth.  The bulletproof Clarino synthetic leather palm provides natural flex and feel that only improves with time as it conforms to the shape and curve of your hands.  A trim, low-profile cut makes the Guide Glove ideal for snowmobiling, where you need extra grip and freedom that will not tear or blow out
