This Bush Hog gear box needs upper bearing on output shaft. The gears are fair but my farmer friend told me once the bearings are replaced the gears will sharpen themselves and work fine.we took the casing plate off and you could see the bearings on the bottom. My friend said that the bearings caused the teeth of gears to wear more in certain places. There is however, no broken or badly chipped teeth. He said he's seen these gear boxes run fine with a lot more wear than this one.Sold "AS IS".I am listing shipping in a large flat rate box for 12.95.It bearly fits.If for some reason it does not pass buyer has the option to withdraw bid due to added expense of shipping. In other words it's only going to cost you 12.95 regardless. If it doesn't pass and it brings a good price I will eat the added shipping. This only applies to U.S. bidders.Foreign countries will have to get quoted price. Thanks honestinjun.
