This item is brand new!

This is the brand new version of the popular Button Reed / Clearence Plate / Hump Jumper from Viking.  This new style has a hole in one of the fingers which you can drop a needle into and helps you to hold it when changing needles in your sewing or embroidery machine! 

The Button Reed creates a thread shank when sewing buttons in place. Each end is a different thickness for more or less thread shank.

It also can be used when sewing over heavy seams to balance the height of the foot.

This is made by Viking but will work with any make or model machine!
