The most cost-effective spreader to maintain commercial grounds. For use with #1 rock salt or similar material. Corrosion-proof, thermoplastic hopper has ultra-smooth 45° interior and auger to reduce material bridging. Sealed housing protects motor from salt and elements. Electronic speed control lets you control spreading action from inside your pickup cab. Power cables and bracket included.

Tailgate Salt Spreaders
• Attractive and rugged polymer black hopper and orange powder coated steel mounting frame resist rust and corrosion.
• Heavy-duty 12-volt spreader motor is housed in a sealed motor chamber. (TGS05B is located inside the hopper for extra protection).
• Material flow and spread width, from 3 feet to 30 feet are controlled from an in-cab electronic spreader control panel.
• Ultra-smooth 45º hopper interior and auger fight material bridging by channeling it to the stainless steel-lined hopper throat and spinner, providing and even flow of material without the need of expensive auger add-ons or vibration kits.

Commercial grade salt spreader features a low-profile design for unrestricted rear view and a protected internal motor assembly.

Capacity: 10.79 cubic feet / 809 pounds #1 rock salt or similar material.

Mounting options:
• Mount directly to the step bumper (standard, all mounting hardware included)
• Mount using the optional Wintergate Spreader Mount allowing full bed access
• Mount using a optional receiver tube for easy spreader removal. Kit also allows for vertical adjustment.
