BUYING HORSES AND PONIES - GUIDELINES FOR BUYERS

This book attempts to provide guidelines which it is hoped will help the would-be buyer to make a mutually satisfactory purchase - mutually that is so far as both human and horse are concerned and particularly when a child and a pony are involved.  In the introduction the author writes about buyers being 'equipped sufficiently well with a background of relevant knowledge'. In acquiring that background the reader will find that he has also learnt a lot about understanding, managing and even riding horses, for this is not just a book about the how and where of horse purchase, it is also about horsemastership of a most practical kind.
