You are actually paying for the actual weight of ALL the items (rounded off to next ounce, per USPS) and a very small handling fee.  The handling fee includes the cost of the shipping supplies(label, packaging, tape, ink, gas etc.) In general, my S/H are very reasonable.
Note: Item ships when payment is received/cleared.  Seller ships every day, Monday through Friday. Your item is brought to the post office and handed to the clerk to be scanned. It is NOT put in a drop box nor is it picked up by usps.
