This Baby Lock Esante Computerized Embroidery sewing machine was traded in on a new Viking Embroidery sewing machine.   It is in good shape and sews nicely.

This auction is for the machine all all the accessories seen in the pictures.  These machines were made up to 2005.

This Esante has been It has been cleaned, serviced, checked, and test sewn by our shop, which has over 26 years experience in servicing and repairing sewing machines and sergers.

The problem with most of the inexpensive embroidery machines available at the box stores is that they do embroidery only.  The Esante does beautiful embroidery, but it is also a full-featured sewing machine.  It has your basic sewing stitches, some design stitches, buttonholes, tri-motion, quilting, and many other built-in sewing stitches, besides being able to do embroidery.

This sewing machine comes with the embroidery unit

and 3 hoops.  There is the small, medium, and large hoop.

The automatic button hole maker makes doing buttonholes a breeze.  You can see the 6 different buttonholes I sewed out. 

There are about 10 different buttonholes that are available. 

There is a buttonhole lever on the left side of the machine.  You simply put the buttonhole foot on, set the size for the button you are using, and the machine does the rest automatically.  There is also a  needle threader for easy threading of the machine.

There are different help screens which show how to do the different stitches.  There are screens for the utility stitches,

heirloom stitches, and design stitches.  All you have to do is touch the screen for the stitch you want to sew out and it sets up the machine for you. 

There are also help screens to show how to set up the machine. 

It is like there is a help file built into the machine.  There are screens for just about every function on this sewing machine. 

You can look at the different stitch samples we sewed out.  There are some of the basic stitches, some of the design stitches,

 and some quilting stitches.

These feet all fit in the accessory case, which snaps onto the machine. 

With the accessory case on, it gives more sewing area for your larger projects.  When the accessory tray is removed, it becomes a free-arm machine. 

This is handy as it lets you sew pants legs and shirtsleeves as they can slip right over the end of the machine.  The bobbin cover is clear plastic so you can see how much thread is on the bobbin before starting a project.

There are 26 different design cards that are included in this auction. 

There are even some Christmas design cards for making some Christmas gifts with your new machine.

The built-in scissors are really neat, too.  When you finish a seam, you push the scissors button and it cuts the top and bottom thread both at the same time.

The variable speed control lets you set the machine for the top speed you want to sew.  If you have it set for half speed, even if the foot control is pushed all the way down, it still sews at the speed you have it set for. 

There is a manual to help you get started.  Between the manual and the help screens on the machine, sewing with this machine is a breeze.

Also included in this auction is the Baby Lock Image Transfer System. 

This is a neat item as it lets you digitize some of your own designs.  The Imager also comes with an instruction manual.

The carrying case has a compartment in the front to store your foot control, cord, and other important goodies.

There is just not enough room in a listing to tell all of the neat things that this machine will do. 

This sewing machine and accessories will be shipped in 2 boxes.  The machine in one box by itself, and the embroidery unit and other goodies in another box.  The shipping charge figured in the calculator will be for 2 boxes.  total shipping weight will be around 50 pounds from 97420.

The only issue with this machine, and you can see it in the pictures, as it was sitting in the sun for a while.  Baby Lock machines have a tendency to change color after a while.  This machine has faded and turned more yellow than it should be.  But, this in no way affects the way that it operates or sews, as you can see by the nice stitch samples in the pictures above.
