Has two guard rails for added safety and they can be removed to create a small daybed. Under bed drawer is included. The bed is easy to build if you have some woodworking experience. It cans be built with almost any kind of wood. Once it built the bed can easily be disassembled and reassembled many times. The bed meets all consumer product safety commission CPSC guidelines.
