This is one of the best carriers I ever used! It is made by Basic Comfort and will hold a baby (that is sitting up) clear up to 3 or 4 yrs old. It has a hard plastic insert that provides a seat for your child while being carried. The insert can hold keys, wallet, or whatever you want to carry. The carrier can be washed and is adjustable. It is put on sling style. I put a picture of my daughter with it on, with a doll to show how it works. I also have additional pics if you want. Since the carrier goes around your waist- it takes the weight off of your neck/shoulders, making it easier to carry a child without killing yourself! And the back piece provides support for the child so you don't have to use your hands all the time- and that is pretty nice, considering the way moms always seem to need both hands!  Guys can use it too.  I would put a little pillow or something soft on the seat to provide extra soft padding for my son. He loved it. And it is easy to put off and on.
