| | Album notes | Baha Men: Anwar Rolle, Nehemiah Hield (vocals); Herschel Small, Patrick Carey (guitar); Jeffrey Chea (keyboards); Isaiah Taylor (bass); Colyn Grant (drums); Anthony "Monks" Flowers (percussion). Additional personnel: Wendy Peterson (vocals). Producers include: Herschel Small, Frank Roszak, Mark Hudson, Craig Kafton, Kendal Stubbs. Engineers include: Luis Diaz, Scott Gordon, Kendal Stubbs. Obviously, it's nearly impossible to top the runaway success of a hit as massive as the Baha Men's "Who Let the Dogs Out," but you can't blame them for trying. The same blend of pop and Caribbean flavor that fans have come to love is in evidence here, and the emphasis is squarely on fun. As with their past efforts, 2 ZERO 0-0 will sound best at a beach party blowout or a midsummer barbecue, as the syncopated rhythms and infectious vocal stylings of the Baha Men work their way indelibly into one's nervous system. The lead-off track, a modernized version of the '70s AM hit "Hooked on a Feeling" is sure to turn a few heads on first listen, but those same heads are sure to be bobbing happily in short order.
