Pickup/Control Layout: 2 Dimarzio Air Buckers/ 2 volume, 1 tone (the tone is only wired to the bridge pickup)/ 3 way selector switch.

Features: Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. Carved maple quilt top. Gold block inlays. Cream binding around the body and along the neck. Gold hardware. Grover tuners. Buzz Feiten tuning system. It comes with the original spec sheet, Letter of Authenticity , and original hardshell case. It also comes with the RMC Poly-Drive II Preamp and connecting cables.

Condition: Good condition. This guitar was played so it is not in collectors condition. This Baker originally had a Piezo bridge that was connected to the 9-pin jack you see in the picture. Then, you would connect that to the RMC preamp. All of this was stock from the factory. At some point, the Piezo bridge broke and was replaced with a standard tune-o-matic bridge. We spoke with Gene Baker, the creator of this beauty, and he said he is still able to get parts from RMC if the new owner of this guitar would like to get Piezo bridge back on there. Gene Baker provides excellent customer support and can be contacted on the web at www.meangene.org and www.finetunedinstruments.com. Aside from that bridge being replaced, everything else is original. There is a little bit of fading on the gold hardware. There is a fair amount of light scratching on the surface from normal use over the years. There is one tiny chip in the finish at the very tip of the headstock. There are also a few small scuffs on the edge of the body. Other than that, it's in good shape and ready to rock.

Comments: This is an absolutely amazing guitar. If your looking at this ad then you already know what it is. This is an original Baker USA guitar made by Gene Baker. Don't confuse this with the cheap Bakers that Ed Roman sells. It is like a cross between a PRS and a Les Paul. American made with exquisite craftsmanship. It will turn heads as soon as you open the case. The pickups sound great and the action is very smooth. This guitar is perfect for recording and live shows. This is the exact guitar used in an original ad for Baker guitars called "The Baker Boys". You will see the guitar front and center with Gene Baker himself holding it. You won't be disappointed with this beauty! It will also be professionally packed and shipped. Good luck.
