 Toning
is Category 2 (C2) in the Urban Botanics 5-step
Daily Regimen.
It
is important to tone after cleansing. Toning restores
the proper pH of the skin, tightens the skin, reduces
pore size, and has natural anti-bacterial properties;
however, most toners use alcohols, which are drying
and can be harsh to the skin. Using witch hazel
instead of alcohols, Urban Botanics Balancing Toner
(C2) is gentler and less drying, appropriate for
all skin types. The aloe vera, botanical extracts,
MSM, and the lemon and orange essential oils help
soothe the skin.
Like
all Urban Botanics products, the Urban Botanics
Balancing Toner (C2) is alcohol-free, paraben-free,
propylene glycol-free and sulfate-free (sodium lauryl
and laureth sulfates, ammonium lauryl and laureth
sulfates). We believe that the ingredients you put
on your skin should only have positive effects,
and so we give you an exceptionally clean product
line.

Directions:
After cleansing with the Urban Botanics Facial Cleanser
(C1), apply a thin layer of the Urban Botanics Balancing
Toner (C2) to the face. After toning, follow with
Urban Botanics Anti-Oxidant Normalizing Serum (C3)
to normalize and protect the skin. Use morning and
night. |
