Ball Valve
 
This is a must have for all tankless water heating systems. This valve system is required for maintenance purposes and by most building and zoning plumbing codes. You can completely shut of the flow of the water to the heater and cut off any back pressure from the outlet side of the water line without affecting the flow of water to the rest of your house. These valves will allow you to service the heater if needed as well as replace the pre-sediment filter cartridge and winterize with ease. In addition you can use this ball valve to balance water pressure to your heater unit where water pressure exceeds recommended levels and control total GPM in and out of unit for maximum performance.
 
Note: (2) Ball valves required per heater on water supply line, (1) on inlet and (1) on outlet.
