This listing is for one GENUINE MOTHER OF PEARL 5th string nut (also known as a "pip") shown in the photos. This is a New Old Stock unused banjo repairman item that carried a retail price of $3.00 back 25 years ago. . The solid genuine MOTHER OF PEARL 5th string nut is the little nut used on 5 string banjos for the 5th (short) string.
It is flat on the bottom and nicely rounded on top and makes for a nice finished look once installed. Perfect for the banjo builder or repairman.
These have been i my repair shop for decades. One bid for ONE 5th string pip in NEW UNUSED condition. Have more if winner needs 'em.
