Girls learn that it’s possible to possess beauty and brains as they use this "laptop" to master 1st- and 2nd-grade-level learning skills under the bright and peppy tutelage of Barbie. Although not a traditional laptop in the sense of having data storage capabilities or Internet connectivity, the B-Book is designed for portability and packed with 60 different games and activities to enhance girls’ classroom success. The learning system offers 15 activities to practice spelling, vocabulary, and grammar; 12 mathematics and logic units; 11 memory and music activities; 7 fun games and keyboarding skills tutorials; 10 beginner Spanish activities; and 5 additional girlie games. Each activity has five levels of progression and Barbie gives girls three tries to answer each challenge, with enthusiastic encouragement along the way, and then provides the right response if kids are still struggling. Less engaging is the screen, which measures only 3-3/4 inches long and 1-1/2 inches tall, providing a tiny viewing window set within a permanent picture of Barbie on a striped background. In addition, the highly pixilated, 1-bit black-and-white graphics (which many parents will remember from their middle school days) are rather disappointing and outdated. The Barbie B-Book comes with a mouse and Barbie mouse pad and runs on four "AA" batteries.
With this Barbie laptop, children get tutored by Barbie in essential first and second grade skills. With over 50 activities in English and 10 in Spanish, your child will have fun learning. Shipping
I will pack well, but Insurance is highly recommended since most items I sell are fragile.
We will be happy to combine shipping on multiple winning items when possible.
Terms of Sale
The auction terms and conditions are simple. They are divided into 4 different areas: Bidder Terms, Payment Terms, Shipping Terms, and Insurance Terms. These terms will be updated as NEW issues come up in order to better protect all of us on eBay.
- Bidder Terms. All Bidders are welcomed. All bids are binding. Bidders need to ask any questions they may have before bidding. We will not remove bids if asked. We reserve the right to retract any bids that are suspicious or if there is evidence that the bid will not be honored.
- Payment Terms. Payment must be received within 10 business days of the date the auction ended or the high bidder will forfeit their winning bid. We accept credit card payments and electronic checks through Paypal. If using a non-confirmed mailing address with Paypal, the transaction is not completed until the payment is accepted. We accept Money orders, Cashier's checks, personal check(with address imprinted on check from USA only) and CASH (USA ONLY) at the sender's risk. Personal Checks are held up to 10 business days after the check arrives to insure that the payment clears. The winning bidder e-mail notification will be sent within 24 hours. All payments must be in U.S. dollars.
- Shipping Terms. All items will be mailed through the USPS, unless otherwise stated in the auction. We do allow the high bidder to add shipping options, but the high bidder is not allowed to lower the shipping rate. The type of shipping for each auction is taken in consideration and determined based on the best way to protect the item and yet make sure the item is mailed within a reasonible able amount of time. If the high bidder would like Express, Priority, Confirm Delivery, or anything else added to there shipping cost, an email is needed and a new shipping price will be emailed out as soon as possible. Returned items will require additional shipping if the address
- Insurance Terms. Unless otherwise noted, all items can be insured at the bidder's request. Higher priced items will have required insurance stated within the auction for the protection of the high bidder.
