Barclay Gold tone and Ruby Red Gemstone Wreath Pin






Description:

This listing is for a lovely, vintage, circle pin or brooch, in the form of a Christmas wreath, by Barclay. This pin features 16, faceted glass, prong set, ruby red stones arrayed on a wreath of gold-tone metal. A gold bow anchors the wreath and another faceted, red glass stone, is centered on the bow.  The piece is signed by the designer, Barclay, on a gold plate on the back. It has a clasp pin.  Barclay jewelry was marked thus between 1948 and 1957. This pin is about 1.75 inches in diameter and 2 inches long. I see no cracks, chips or dings in the stones. The metal is shiny and bright and shows little wear. While I am listing this pin with other holiday jewels I do think it is versatile enough to be worn beyond the Christmas season.

Be sure to supersize the photos to see all the details of this very pretty pin.  This piece appears to be in very good, well cared for, condition. Please keep in mind however that this item is not new and has been previously worn. I do not have the original box or packaging for this piece.
