IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ: This was a special promotion that was available at select Walgreen's and Supermarkets throughout the United States. The coins sold for $6.99 each with a special coupon found in select papers. You had to have the coupons in order to purchase the coins. The problem was that the stores carrying the coins had only a very very very limited amount of coins and every newspaper had a coupon, thus causing a mass demand at stores. There were lines outside stores early in the morning with everybody wanting to obtain a coin, but there were only a small amount of coins to sell. This was a very limited product and everybody wanted it!!! Many people did not get any coins and many people could not complete their sets, so they had to go to secondary markets and a pay a premium to complete their sets or just to obtain coins. In the state of Iowa there is a small supermarket called Hy-Vee, which had the coins shipped to them in a special air-tight security sealed packaging. The packaging was only done this way for them. The packaging itself is amazing and really nice and I was able to get my hands on a few complete sets with this special packaging. This packaging is very sought-after. I am basically selling these sets to you at the coupon price of $4.99 per coin which is an amazing deal. The coins with the normal flimsy plastic bag packaging sells for $9.95 per coin elsewhere....here you are paying about $4.99 per coin with the special limited edition packaging. You get all 15 coins in the special sealed clamshell packaging with a FREE display frame. Coins are layered with genuine 24 KT Gold and colorized with your favorite baseball legends. I have never seen a set feature so many great baseball legends...this set is truly amazing! Each player in a US Mint uncirculated corresponding Statehood Quarter (ex: Pete Rose played for the Cincinnati Reds so he is featured on a OHIO gold quarter, Joe DiMaggio played for the New York Yankees so he is featured on a NEW YORK gold quarter, etc).
