Have you ever wanted to own the first 10 issues of Batman ?
Now is your chance.

A couple of the other issues are lower grades, but they all are supple and great reading copies.
These issues will only be sold as a set.
Batman #1 (DC, 1940) Batman #1 retells the origin from Detective #33 and contains the first appearance of The Joker, who is easily the most recognizable villain in the history of villains. You'll also see the first appearance of The Cat who would eventually become Catwoman. One of the best things about Batman is that being only human, he doesn't have any personal physical weaknesses, like Superman's vulnerability to kryptonite, but has character flaws that can be exploited by his enemies. This comic can easily be the crown jewel in your Batman collection and you'll make all your friends green with envy when you proudly show it off
Here's the breakdown of the comic----

BATMAN #5 Good / Very Good PGX 3.0DC Comics, Spring 1941
Great Joker story, and a fun sci-fi tale called "Book of Enchantment". Front cover is detached from the book, with a one-half split at the bottom of the spine, a few light water droplet stains that did not penetrate inside at all, and some small tears and chipping along all three edges. Inside pages are a light tan and supple, with some light staining and tanning in the margins. There is a small piece missing from the bottom-margin on page one. Back cover shows some small edge tears and some minor edge chipping, and some stress along the spine. Comic is complete.
Inside are four Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder stories by the legendary Bob Kane, with the first appearance of the Batmobile (a dark finned vehicle with the batmask front). A written detective murder fiction story about a Detective John Burton, jokes, puzzles and some ads for upcoming Superman, Flash, Batman, and other DC hero comics, a classic Daisy Red Ryder ad and an ad for mail-order fireworks(Remember this was 1941)!
BATMAN #6 CGC GOOD+ (2.5) with CREAM TO OFF-WHITE Pages. There is a large stain that runs through the outer edges of the book and a tear along the cover that keeps this book out of a higher grade.
Bat-Man #7 Good PGX 2.0 The book has great interior. Unfortunately, the cover has much tape repair . The interior is near Fine, but is Good because of the cover
