This battery grip takes 2 x EN-EL3/ NP400/ CGA-S006/ CGA-S006E/ DMW-BMA7 batteries. It is ideal in situations where a large number of shots are to be taken or in low temperatures. There are two shutter buttons at the bottom for vertical shooting. It turns your Panasonic / Leica camera into a truely professional grade DSLR.
The installation is simple. Screw the battery grip to the tripod jack of the Panasonic FZ50, FZ30 or Leica V-Lux1, and connect them with the AC cable and shutter release cable.
You may choose to use the original battery in the battery compartment of the camera and leave the battery grip empty. The setting could offer you vertical shooting at a lighter weight. Alternatively, you may take away the original battery and fill up the battery holder of the grip. Your camera will then be fully powered by 2 x EN-EL3, CGA-S006 or DMW-BMA7 batteries. That's equal to 3 times of the original power (it depends with the mAh of the batteries that you put into the holder).
At the bottom of the grip there is a tripod jack for fixing it with the camera on a tripod.
It comes with a detailed English instruction manual showing you how to install it on the camera. With this battery grip, long hour shooting is no longer a burden!
The whole package contains two battery compartments for EN-EL3/NP400/CGA-S006/DMW-BMA7 battery, an AC connector cable. Other components shown in the pictures are for demonstration purpose only and are not be included in the listing/transaction.
