Primecell has developed high capacity battery conversions for many quality radios. We have been rebuilding and upgrading all brands of Radio batteries for 20 years, and customers keep asking, "how do you do it" ?  My radio never worked this well, and it operates much longer on a single battery charge!

The original Batteries were made using NiCd cells.  The cells we use to upgrade them are NiMh.  We have indeed increased the battery capacity. - and they do provide much longer use time per battery charge. 

This battery upgrade design allows use of any of the original chargers sold for use with the Uniden products.

Tech-note: Chargers were designed to fill a smaller capacity battery. To Charge a Hi-Capacity battery -allow a longer charge time.  Like filling a glass with water.  It takes longer to fill a large glass than it does for a small glass.

We preserve all gaskets and reseal the battery as it was when new.   Even though it is water resistant - we do not guaranty that it is submersible.
