This is the most detailed car in 1/18 scale! The front seating compartment is black, while the rear is blue. This model will be the peak of engineering for diecast cars, featuring over 1,300 parts all hand assembled. The model is 14 inches long, and 5.07 pounds. There are no less than 18 different materials used to assemble this car together. The body can be removed from the chassis to reveal the beautiful craftsmanship hidden under the car including a fully plumbed engine and brake lines, two batteries, the driveshaft and rear differential, and fuel tank. The interior features real wood trim, and thick pile carpet along with upholstered seats.
The Bugatti Royale Type 41 was designed to impress; and it certainly did. Given its extreme size and beautiful design, it continues to fascinate enthusiasts all across the world. At a price that could have bought you three Rolls-Royce, the Royale was reserved to only the richest, and those who could afford this car knew there would not be many others they would have to share it with.
The extremely elegant body design is fastened to a gargantuan chassis, and is built extremely sturdily in order to cope with the length, weight and even the huge torque of the car. The giant 142 cm long engine was lubricated with 14 liters of oil and cooled with 48 liters of water. The Royale had a 190 liter tank – which it definitely needed at a consumption of 40 l/100 km.
This preassembled, 1:18 die-cast model is a milestone in model manufacture. It is approx 14 inches long, weighing 1.85 kg. The model is made up of more than 1,300 individual parts, a masterpiece of craftsmanship. 18 different materials went into making of this model.
The diecast metal body can be removed from the chassis with just a few manipulations, giving you a unique view of a scaled version of the nearly 1.5 meter long original straight 8, 24 valve engine. It has mirrored base!
