Bb/A Piccolo Trumpet - this is a 3 valve model with extra slides to change the tuning.  I’m not a great Piccolo player (more of a Lead player) so it is a little hard for me to say exactly how great this horn is.  I will never over-promise on any thing I sell .

It is certainly in great shape – only a few hours of playing on it.  It uses a trumpet mouthpiece.  This was only my 2^nd experience with a Piccolo, and the first ( a Yamaha) was downright embarrassing as I could not find the slots…  On this horn, the slots were much easier.  Lead trumpet and Piccolo just don’t mix.  What I learned is that one needs to play much easier on the Piccolo – try to force it and bad things happen.  Lay back and let the horn do the work, and Presto! – I can play it.   So can you.  Double C – no problem.  It comes with a hard case and slides.  Valves are smooth and intonation is good.  There is no brand on this horn as this was a test unit.
