Beaded & Quilled Cardinal Dreamcatcher Wallhanging

This is a unique beaded and quilled cardinal on a 7" gold hoop, suitable as a dreamcatcher or as a decorative wall hanging.  Porcupine quills give a very lifelike effect to the wing and tail of the bird.  The beadwork has a leather backing to protect it and is laced onto the hoop with artificial sinew. 

The background is done in white pearl beads, the picture near the bottom, shows the background darker than it actually is (so far, the most challenging part of putting my artwork on ebay to sell, hasn't been the creation of the works or the selling of them!  The most challenging part of selling on ebay has been to try to get a decent well-lit photo that shows the colors and details of the item as accurately as possible and as clearly as possible, with my average-priced digital camera.)

I enjoy creating beaded items that are above and beyond the ordinary to the level of distinctive high quality art.  I have only recently started showcasing my works on ebay, but have sold them in reservation shops for years.
