Beadgirl's Gallery - Lampwork Bead Bookmark with Feather, Aqua

 

This bookmark features two aqua Beadgirl lampwork beads.  The focal point is a two-sided feather charm (see picture below).  Fits a book with up to 11" spine.

My glass beads are made with love from Italian glass rods, heated with an oxy-propane blowtorch to over 2000°F.  The colors are melted together to produce the beads, which are wound around a steel rod that creates the hole. The beads are annealed at 1000°F in a kiln for several hours to stabilize them. With proper handling, they are not fragile and will last a lifetime! I hope that you enjoy your glass art and I thank you for your business!
