I was a TY retailer for many years beginning in 1996.  Each time TY offered a new selection of beanies I would purchase them immediately.  Upon receipt from TY I would put aside the new product.  Therefore new authentic beanie baby babies are going to their first owners.   They have been boxed and stored ever since, no pets, no smoke, in a dry dark place.  Most items are one of a kind so what you see in the picture is the beanie you get.  Check the quantity offered to insure this is true.
