Specializing in Quality-Hand Sculpted-Lampwork Glass Animal Beads & More Since 2004
Hello & Thank You for stopping in to take a peek at my listing!
Here for your consideration is : "Hank" The Dk. Red Brown Puppy Dog Lampwork Focal Glass Bead.

This purchase is for 1 Bead
(Pictures show more than one view of the exact same bead that you will receive. This bead is a One-Of-A-Kind, hand sculpted creation...I can not exactly duplicate it!)
Hank The Puppy Dog Measures In At Approximately:
29mm long from nose to tush x 29mm wide from side to side of his hind legs x 20mm tall from the bottom of his paws to the top of his ears.
(I take my measurements from the widest points on each side of the bead)
Wound on a 3/32" mandrel and the hole runs vertical, from the top of his back to the bottom of his belly.
I used the colors: Dk. Red Brown, White, Dk. Topaz, Black, Powder Pink, and Intense Black.
(Colors may very from what you see in the picture to what you will see in your hand...this is due to different monitor settings on everyone's computers...I do my best to capture the colors as true as possible in the pictures...but they are always much better in person!)
Hank would make a great gift for any puppy dog loving family member, friend, or even yourself!

All of my lampwork creations are made with or with mixtures of colored glass rods that are made here in the U.S. and also imported in from places like Italy & Germany. These glass rods are from well known glass factories such as: Moretti/Effetre, Vetrofond, CiM, Ask, Lauscha, Tag, and/or Glass Works. I use pretty much any kind of 104 c.o.e. soft glass that is compatable. If I can get my hands on then I'm going to use it. I am a major glass addict when it comes to "odd" variations of colors, and limited/discontinued colors that are no longer made. I love to use them in many of my creations. No molds or machines are used in the aid of creating my animal beads. I make each one, individually in the flame using my favorite basic hand tools (a razor, tweezers, and graphite paddle) and often times just by using the rod of glass and gravity. I let the glass speak for itself and patiently guide it until I am happy with the outcome.
All of my beads are Properly Kiln Annealed. In fact, each and every bead enters a pre-heated digital controlled kiln as it leaves the flame. This makes the glass more stable and durable. If your beads are properly taken care of...they will last many years if not a life time.
All bead holes are cleaned free of excess bead release and I throughly inspect each bead myself. I never sell beads that I am unhappy with for any reason.
I personally "artist sign" each of my beads with my Beastie Bead initials "BB" on the underside of either the paw, hoof, belly, or tush.
My beads are little works of glass art...they are created and intended for Adult Bead Collectors.
These beads are not intended for infants, children under the ages of 13yrs, nor pets. They do pose a choking hazard and if broken can cause serious cuts and injuries. Proper care should be taken to avoid breakage. If broken, please dispose of properly.
Many of the beads I create can be used as focals in your own jewelry creations but please review their sizes as some are fairly large. You can also just collect them, add them to your favorite curio cabinets, make them up into ornaments to decorate and hang from your rear view mirrors, windows, potted plants, ceiling fan/light pulls, etc...the possibilities are endless! They also make great "one of a kind gifts" for those that are hard to buy for....your animal loving family and friends to!
I am a Self Representing Artist which means that I make the beads and I sell them directly to you! There are no middlemen or factory made beads that come out of my home studio.
