‘LET IT BE’ was the The Beatles FINAL UK Studio Album released in 1970. First issues were released as a LAVISH VINYL/BOOK BOX Set. The few found in COMPLETE and IMPRESSIVE condition throughout (such as this one listed here) are now becoming INCREASINGLY COLLECTIBLE. Due to the fragile construction of the slip case and inner trays that support the book, a vast majority of these Vinyl Box Sets became damaged and incomplete. Becoming increasingly difficult to find now in IMPRESSIVE and COMPLETE condition, this is a SCARCE opportunity to purchase a 100% ORIGINAL UK First Issue for The Beatles ‘LET IT BE’ VINYL Box Set. Released in 1970 on the APPLE label, the BOX SET contains the following:

An ORIGINAL 1970 Twelve Track FIRST ISSUE UK Apple ‘LET IT BE’ 12" STEREO Vinyl LP on the Dark Green Apple Label, with ‘Apple Records’ label rim, and with ‘An EMI Recording’ and ‘Mfd in the UK’ printed to both record labels.

Side 1 matrix: YEX 773-2U and Side 2 YEX 774-2U.
Side 1 stampers: 1/7/AO and Side 2: 5/OM.

The album comes in its ORIGINAL White inner bag, printed ‘Made in Great Britain’ and the ‘Patent No: 1,125,555’.

The LP is housed in its ORIGINAL First Issue Fully Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Sleeve displaying the RED Apple Logo to the Reverse of the Sleeve, and printed ‘An EMI Recording’ beneath the Red Apple.

…..An ORIGINAL Large Format GET BACK book, Laminated to the Front and Reverse. This SUBSTANTIAL book is packed with previously unpublished photographs of THE BEATLES taken by Ethan A Russell from the Get Back Sessions.

The book is stored in its ORIGINAL Black Card PERFORATED Inner Tray and is further protected by an ORIGINAL Outer Black Tray with two Rounded Corner Flaps.

Audio Quality:

The BARELY PLAYED album plays SUPERBLY through ALL 12 tracks, without any skips, clicks or distortion.

Condition:

Both sides of the Record labels are in SUPERB near mint condition. A CLEAN, UNDAMAGED Set of record labels, with nothing more than a few faint centre spider trails.

Both sides of the WELL CARED FOR Vinyl disc are in STUNNING near mint condition, BARELY PLAYED, GLEAMING Vinyl Surfaces, with just a few light wispy hairlines. There are NO scuffs or deep scratches.

The Original Made in Great Britain Inner Bag is excellent. There are NO tears, NO seam splits, NO handwriting, just some mild, inevitable, creasing.

The fully laminated Garrod & Lofthouse First Issue Sleeve is a GORGEOUS near mint example, Truly ULTRA MIRROR GLOSS laminate to the front and back of this IMPRESSIVE sleeve, NEAT, FIRM edges and corners, with only the mildest bruise to the bottom corner, with a PERFECT spine edge, printed 'The Beatles' 'Let It Be', 'Apple Records', 'PCS 7096'. All there is to mention is extremely mild record storage wear to the sleeve (very minor) and a couple of laminate pinches, which would have occurred during the manufacturing process.

The Laminated ‘GET BACK’ Book is a STUNNING example in near mint condition. Surprisingly, there are NO loose, damaged or missing pages - the book is quite prone to the pages becoming dislodged due to the inappropriate glueing method used for the binding of the book. The Laminate to the front and reverse of the book is ULTRA GLOSSY, and the book binding TIGHT and UNDAMAGED. The spine edge reads 'The Beatles Get Back'. All that is visible is mild corner wear to the top spine edge and a tiny piece of laminate loss to the bottom spine edge – nothing serious.

The Original Black PERFORATED Card Inner Tray in which the Get Back book sits in, is in REMARKABLE excellent plus condition – It is obvious that the book has not been taken in and out of its ‘slot’ very often as these delicate trays are usually so prone to a lot of wear and tear. This one does NOT have ANY of the usual tearing to any of the stress areas.

The Original outer Protective Black Card tray, with its ROUNDED corners is in excellent condition, NO tearing or other damage, just some wear marks to the edges and corners.

The Original Outer Laminated SLIP CASE, which protects the complete Set is in IMPRESSIVE excellent condition. STRONG, FIRM and VERY GLOSSY, with NO tearing to any part, and only light wear to the top and bottom edges and four corners.

From our vast experience as a Worldwide BEATLES specialist, we RARELY come across this COLLECTIBLE Beatles Box Set in such overall IMPRESSIVE condition. Most are damaged or incomplete. Becoming INCREASINGLY DIFFICULT to find in this condition – A LOVELY all round Example!
