You may already know that there were 77 issues of The Beatles Monthly Magazine produced during the group’s lifetime, between 1963 and 1970. However, the magazine resumed publication in 1982 and continued until recently. These later issues are now becoming collectible and there are some good reasons why.

This is issue number 289 from May, 2000.

• Later issues covered the various activities of the solo Beatles, and also featured articles and essays on the group itself, addressing virtually every aspect of The Beatles’ career. A lot of great information came spilling forth in these volumes from Beatles insiders, journalists and historians. Fans will always find something of interest and may learn a few things as well.

  Perhaps the best thing about the later Monthlies is this: a treasure trove of rare and exclusive photographs, not available anywhere else!

• During the lifetime of the original 77 Monthlies, the magazine had exclusive access to The Beatles, with a staff photographer who provided incredible photographs for the publication. At the time he may have shot many rolls of film and only a limited selection of photos could be used in any given magazine. These later issues provide us with a seemingly endless supply of the rest of those rare and exclusive photographs. If you think you’ve seen every picture of The Beatles taken during their life as a group, you are in for a pleasant surprise! These magazines are worth it for the photos alone! However they also provide a thoughtful look back on the incredible career of The Beatles when they were together while also covering the then-current activities of the solo Beatles as they occurred.

  These issues are the same format and size (approx. 6” x 8”) as the 1st run of Monthlies.

  CONDITION - This is in EXCELLENT condition with no cutouts, writing or missing pages. There is some light wear and that's it. Nothing to detract from its readability or your enjoyment.
