Beatles PPCS Export Abbey Road on Yellow / Black Parlo

Very very rare Export PPCS Abbey Road on Parlophone / Odeon Press

Condition of record  Very Good + / Excellent -

Labels Excellent

Cover is in a Very Good Condition.

Also has Original Foreign Pending paper sleeve (in complete but good condition / no rips but some small sellotape residual at top)

Run off groove stampers are as follows:

Side 1 has the number 4 at the 9 o'clock position and RLO at the 3 o'clock position (going downwards)

Side 2 has the number 10 at the 9 o'clock and ROP at the 3 o'clock (again going downwards)

 These are all properly stamped and not etched.

There are no G or D stamps which is correct in the theory that this isn't a usual Abbey Rd Parlophone yellow / Black label Export, and according to Goldmine Mag, this shows that it is a contract pressing but not by Decca otherwise it would also have the circular impression 15mm from the outer edge.

I think this may be a new type as I can't see any thing quite like it on Google.

But whatever it is, it's for sale and it's a Very Rare Export.

The standard matrix numbers for the Yellow/Black Abbey Rd Export should be YEX 749 A-3U 1 on side one and YEX 750-1 on side two

Mine are: Yex 749-2 on side one and YEX 750-1 on side two

These are both placed at the 6 o'clock mark

This, with the addition of the "Foreign Patents Pending"  Inner sleeve lead me to believe that this is a first run or definitely not a standard EMI pressing.

does it get any more confusing? :)
