Up for auction is a 2008 custom made Taylor 12 string. I’m selling the guitar just to thin out the herd and since I already have a Taylor W65 this doesn’t get played that much and needs to go to a home that will appreciate it and play it more. Since this was done under Taylor's build to order specifications there is no number that coincides with this guitar. The label inside says Custom JU. This guitar would be classified as a 455 under the old numbering system but this guitar is gloss all over including the back and sides which are satin finish for the 400 series. The guitar has a Sitka spruce top with flamed Ovangkol back and sides. I have never seen such beautiful Ovangkol before. The guitar also has an abalone rosette and gold Taylor tuners, a tortoise shell pickguard, and the original hardshell case. I have never gigged with this guitar and it is in mint condition and comes from a smoke free environment.
