Lovely Maling Lustre Ware biscuit barrel with wicker handle beautifully decorated in the 'Apple Blossom' pattern with pink flowers against a pearl lustre background. The finial on the lid is an in the form of a pink blossom flower.
The base measures approx 4.5" in diameter across the rim x 6.25" across from handle to handle x 5.5" deep and it stands 7.5" high with the lid on.
It carries the Maling maker's mark on the base that I believe was used between 1924 and 1949.
In superb condition all round with no chips, cracks, crazing or fading and it displays beautifully.
A stunning piece in fabulous condition and very collectable.
