As they say, location is everything and this location is prime.  Best fishing in PA.  You can walk across the road and fish in the creek, Sinnemahoning First Fork Branch.  You can also fish in Driftwood First Fork Branch, East Fork Branch Sinnemahoning, and Kettle Creek is only 25 miles away for some of the best trout fishing around.  Stevenson Dam (view the Bald Eagle) , Alvin Bush Dam, Lyman Dam offer excellent trout fishing too.  Within 30 minutes to an hour these areas are also great for fishing, Bald Eagle State Park (all species), Bald Eagle Creek, Fisherman's Paradise, Spring Creek.

Drive to North Bend to view the Hyner Hang Gliding Area, where people come from all over the U. S. to participate or just watch.  Cherry Springs is only 30 minutes away and offers peaceful star gazing.  You are only an hour away from the PA Grand Canyon, in Wellsboro.

Snowmobile and ATV trails are all around.  Visit and view the Arch Tree.  Pontoon rides on the Dam.  Several fishing derby's.  The 100 mile Yard Sale runs right through Sinnemahoning, don't miss out on some really good bargains!

In June, there is a rattle snake hunt, both educational and fun.  Two locations for Elk viewing within 20 miles.  You can get close enough to take some beautiful pictures of these magnificent creatures.  This is also a bird watchers paradise.  Most renowned area to view the fall leaves change colors.

Kayak and/or canoe, visit the Austin Dam ruins, grab a bite to eat at the Willow's or the Sportman's Club, Sinnemahoning Tavern.

Sinnemahoning has an EMT 911 Service.  The area you are looking at is centrally located and has several well-known towns around it.  Coudersport, PA (35 miles away), they offer hospital services. Clearfield is 45 minutes away and they also offer hospital services, as well as shopping and dining.  Emporium is 25 miles away and offers shopping, gas and dining.  St. Mary's is 40 minutes away and has a hospital.  Other towns nearby include, Dubois, Lockhaven, State College.  Pine Creek is an hour and 15 minutes, one of the best fly fishing creeks in the area, people come from far away as Wyoming just to try their luck!

Hunting includes, deer, elk, turkey, bear, coyote and bobcats.
