RARE CONN CONNQUEST 20A Bb CORNET

DESCRIPTION:

At first glance you might mistake this horn for the rather common Director model, but, in fact, it is the very rare Connquest model. This BEAUTIFUL, great playing, extra large (12.26/.483") bore horn has been completely overhauled to LIKE NEW condition. The new, baked epoxy is absolutely perfect. NO dents, dings, nicks or scratches. Close inspection reveals some very slight unevenness in the main, tuning slide from dent removal. No other apparent repairs.The valves are smooth & fast, showing minimal wear and providing excellent compression. All slides operate smoothly and easily. Cleaned, lubricated, ready to play. A Conn 4 mouthpiece, music lyre and original case in good condition are included. This beautiful horn is another "keeper" I am reluctantly offering to an appreciative Conn collector. Play it, treasure it, its value will only increase over time.
