Beautiful Rocky Mnt. Souv. playing Cards..Rare Deck!

            This is a very rare deck that seldom shows up for sale. It is the c1899 Rocky Mountain Souvenir Playing Cards by Tom Jones and is S-57 in the Hochman Encyclopedia.  It is printed on very unusual card stock called “Velvet Finish” which is even printed across the top of the sample card glued on the Original box, which is in beautiful condition with very bold gold lettering. The deck is complete with 52+ a great joker. The cards have been used VERY lightly for euchre. I would still call this deck Near-mint, the gold edges are still incredibly bright.. the type of card stock used in these cards really shows off the gilding on the edges..it is much brighter than normal gold edged decks. The faces of the cards that weren’t used are a brighter shade of white than those that have been used which are more off white and look aged. A very desirable deck!
