This is a very rare scroll box, This item measures 17" X 26" and is in excellent condition. This has a very beautiful ceramic or porcelain blessed Mary in the top, and the bottom is a scroll I beleive done in an oil painting. the box scrolls from the back using the wooden dowels. the scrolls tells the storys of The Joyful mysteries of the Holy Rosary.......The Sorrowful Mystery of the Holy rosary.....The Five Glorious Mysteries of The Holy rosary. I can not find much info on the Koenig Bros and am basing my price off what a antique dealer told me a couple years ago, though I have not seen anything like this ever. I was given this by my grandmother a couple years ago. The story is my father purchased this from an antique dealer in Cincinnati Ohio in the early 1970's as a gift for my grandmother. This was hung in her bedroom since the 70's untill given to me. I would like to pass it on but this money is needed for both my father and grandmother due to health reasons. Only cashiers checks, cash or money orders will be accepted.
