I purchased this at an auction that sold dolls from one private collection and most of the dolls I purchased were old composition dolls, which happens to be my favorite type. But I am certainly not a collector and don't know a lot about dolls, and most of the dolls sold at this auction had bonnets, and layers of clothes on so it was hard to get a peak of the damage under those clothes, so most of the dolls I purchased do have some kind of damage, but they are old, and you should not expect them to be perfect. I took lots of pictures and I will try to call any damage, so please ask any questions before bidding and I am not accepting returns on these dolls, they are sold "as is". This is an adorable baby doll and one of my favorites from the sale. The body of this doll is soft rubber and it is in amazing condition, most you see are torn, but this only has some darkened skin on the hands and there is a squeaker in the back, but she does not make any noise. Her beautiful little face has sleepy eyes with lashes, an open mouth & teeth and I think it is hard plastic and her face has some darkening areas and there is a "clunk" sound in her head when you move her, and sometimes you need to shake her to get her eyes to open or close. Her clothes are worth my opening bid. She has a diaper and a cute tee shirt, and a 2 piece pajama set with matching bonnet, that appear to be handmade, and I washed these so they look nice and fresh.
