This charming VINTAGE PAIR OF GLOVES, is made of what feels to be, a nylon and cotton blend, but as the tag doesn't state the make-up, I cannot be sure. The inner tag states, "MADE IN WEST GERMANY FOR HENGERER'S". These are a creamy, off-white color, with the faintest stripes in the fabric, and sweet, FAUX BUTTON TABS, along each side. Very classy gloves and obviously, high quality. These are a longer fit, rising up above the wrist by a few inches. They measure approx. 9.75" long, from the second finger to the hem and are approx. 3.25" across the palm, at the thumb area.
These are in VERY GOOD CONDITION, with only one area of light soiling, on one tip of a thumb and a soil "shadow" along one of the trim areas, one small area that could use a stitch or two at the tip of the second finger of one, and two, teeny, tiny holes, that look like pin head holes, at the opening of one glove...perhaps from a stapled tag. All extremely small issues and do not diminish the quality or beauty of these Vintage Gloves. Any other "shadows" or odd coloring to the photos, is simply due to photographic issues and should NOT be considered as part of the actual item. The indented "lines" at the tops of the gloves are merely the marks from the clip hanger I used to hang the gloves on after washing. This is NOT a permanent issue. Perfectly reminiscent of the days when no "true" lady would leave home without her accessories....hat, matching shoes and purse, and her favorite pair of gloves!
