Beautiful & extra large watercolor painting from India.

You are looking at / bidding on an extremely beautiful 100% handmade, extra large, stone-dye painting on cotton cloth. In this painting, the royal family is going to the temple to offer prayers to Krishna, the mythical Hindu God. In the Hindu tradition, prayers are offered twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, before sunset. The artist has shown very finely detailed workmanship in the painting by using fine brushes and natural dyes. These natural dyes are prepared by crushing and grinding stones and semi-precious stones and mixing them with juices of leaves from various plants. Most colors used in the painting are water based. The size of this painting is 60 inches by 41 inches
