Our beautifully handcrafted Peterson style bluebird house is designed to provide years of enjoyment for both you and your bluebirds. Bluebirds inhabit tree lines and small stands of trees throughout most of North America. They are happy to make their homes in open country, on farms, and in cities and towns.
This house is constructed with a simple screw access to clean out old nesting materials. It should be mounted facing east, if possible, 3 to 6 feet high in a somewhat open area. Since bluebirds will raise more than one brood in a season, be sure to clean out between nestings to achieve the maximum use of this product.
Don’t be surprised to see chickadees, wrens, downy woodpeckers, nuthatches, and titmice also make themselves a home in your bluebird house.
