I received this as a present and forgot I had it until my 9th month, so I think I used it once or twice and it was wonderful. This is such a wonderful idea as it lets you hear your unborn baby's kicks, hiccups and heartbeat. Sorry no box and the entire instruction booklet can be downloaded from their web sight (bebesound.com) Unit is extremely simple to operate. This is a really special way of connecting with your baby as you can relax in the comfort of your own home, and a wonderful way for dads to feel included in the pregnancy! The is also great to get you other children involved by letting then hear their future brother or sister. Very simple to use and operate. Simply place 9-Volt battery (not included) into unit, place headset on, turn on volume control and place listening unit on your belly. What will your baby's heartbeat sound like? Your baby's heart beats 140-170 times a minute and will sound like a fast galloping horse. Your baby’s hiccups will sound like 2 rapid drumbeats, and her kicks will sound like soft thuds. You will also hear the nutrients passing through the placenta. This will have a whooshing sound. The machine is in excellent condition. Very clean with no cracks or chips. Only used for one pregnancy.
